Your Questions Answered

  • Are there any special conditions attached to my booking?
  • Supersaver bookings are made at a special low price that is not always available. Because of this, once you have made the booking it cannot be changed, and if you need to cancel we cannot give you a refund. If you think you may need to change or cancel your booking, we suggest you book the same package with us but at the normal price, which will give you more freedom to change or cancel your booking - but of course is still much cheaper than the gate price.
  • Will my car be safe at Stansted Long Stay car park?
  • Long Stay Stansted is fully secured and has CCTV, security fencing and lighting at night. It is manned 24 hours a day and there are regular site patrols. Long Stay Stansted has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To achieve the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have modern security measures and are clean and well-lit.

Offers free cover for damage resulting from any act or omission on the part of its servants or agents. Parking is at vehicle owners' own risk.

  • What do I do upon arrival?
  • The car park has an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter your car registration number correctly when you make your booking. You should bring a copy of your booking confirmation to the car park.
Drive up to the entry barrier. The machine will read your car registration number. This should take about 15 seconds. A ticket with your booking reference on will be printed and the barrier will lift. Then all you need to do is park your car and transfer to the airport. If the barrier doesn’t give you a ticket within 15 seconds, press the help button.

  • If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it above the barcode, show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help.

If your ticket does have your booking reference printed on it above the barcode simply drive to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket you were given when you arrived at the car park and the barrier will open.

  • Each transfer bus only goes to one area of the car park - red, yellow or blue - so make sure you get on the right bus.
